Past Bing/Future Bing is the brainchild of Chris “Bing” Bingham, in which he documented his life for 2 years, and uploaded a video from both years on consecutive days, i.e. Year 1 - Monday, Year 2 - Tuesday, Year 1 - Wednesday, etc.
In the spirit of this, I decided to reprimand Past Me, who was going through a lot of stuff this time last year.
I like to think I’ve gotten better since then.
Come along, Pond!
Come along, Pond!
Looking forward to tonight! Hope you guys are too! Remember: 5pm EST, 2pm PST!
“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings”
It’s been a long time, guys, but WaLS is BACK for 2013!
To kick off the new year, I will be returning to a much-loved book, which was the first thing I ever read on my livestream: ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ by John Green!
To celebrate the 1 year anniversary, and as something to tie all you nerdfighters down until the ‘Evening of Awesome’, on January 10th at 5pm EST / 2pm PST (10pm GMT) I will embark on a full reading of TFioS end to end, as I’m sure we all did one year ago!
Of course this wouldn’t be an event without an audience, so I would hope that as many of you as possible can come along and listen - if only for a while - to the story that gripped us far before it’s release. In order to relive the great saga of ‘John’s Book’, I have created a playlist on YouTube of TFioS related videos from the Vlogbrothers, which I will show periodically where I need to rest my voice.
Although I’m sure it will not be as excellent as The Evening of Awesome is bound to be, I am confident that it can be made into a simply wonderful and intimate event - as intimate as a Scots male reading the musings of an American female can be - if there are as many people as possible there. There are no limits on the number of viewers who can attend, and I would encourage you all to let anyone who you think will be interested about this project. Nothing would make me happier.
If you can’t wait until the stream, you can always check out the other readings that have taken place on the channel: My as-yet-unfinished reading of Pride and Prejudice; and the mammoth multi-voiced reading of Homestuck that myself and a group of friends embarked upon.
Thank you very much for reading, and - as always - the link to the livestream is http://livestream.com/wordsandlettersspoken
Just a reminder that THIS IS HAPPENING TOMORROW!
Hope to see you there!
